Andean Machu Picchu 3 Days / 2 Nights

The tour will begin with a reception and welcome at the airport by the “TOP INKA TRAVEL” staff, who will be waiting with a company sign. Once at the hotel, check-in will take place and visitors will be offered a cup of coca tea before heading to the room to settle in. CITY TOUR: HOTEL PICK UP TIME: 1:30 PM – 1:50 PM It will begin with a visit to the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), the most important temple of the Inca culture, where visitors will be able to admire the impressive Inca architecture and learn about their religion. Afterwards, the transport will pick up tourists to go to the upper part of Cusco and visit the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, known for its impressive zigzagging walls and for being the place where Inti Raymi is celebrated every year. Next, we will visit Qenqo, famous for its Inca amphitheater and its semi-enclosed cave with figures sculpted in the stones. Later, we will visit Puca Pucara, known as the “red fortress” and it is believed that it was used to control the entrance to Cusco. Finally, we will visit Tambomachay, where visitors will be able to admire water canals and small fountains before returning to the city of Cusco around 6:30 pm.

HOTEL PICK UP TIME: 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM We will start the day early with pickup at your hotel to go to the Ollantaytambo train station. We will board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying the landscape of mountains and snow-capped peaks along the way. In Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting to take us on the Consettur bus to the Machu Picchu sanctuary, where we will explore the main attractions and take photographs. After the visit, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will pick us up to take us back to the city of Cusco.

This day, after having breakfast at the hotel at the indicated time, the transfer will pass by our hotel to take us to the airport and board the plane to the city of Lima. Check-out of the hotel is at 10 am (you can leave your suitcases until the time of your trip).
